LEAD TIME: My current lead time is two months. That can change as orders come in. If you want to have a quilt sooner than that you can do so by paying a 20% Rush Fee. If you want to get on the list before you send your quilt you may do so by sending a $50.00 non-refundable deposit that will apply to the final cost of the quilting. This will shorten the actual turnaround time for your quilt. At the time you send your quilt I like to have a 1/3 down payment based on the estimate with the final payment due on completion of the quilt. If your quilt needs to be shipped and/or insured, those costs will be added to the final balance. When your check clears the bank, I will send your quilt. If you prefer to use PayPal we can arrange for that.

BACK AND BATTING: I have a small studio with no space to store large rolls of batting, so you will need to send backing and batting that are at least 6 inches wider and 6 inches longer (3 inches all the way around) than your top. Larger is fine, I will just resize it to what I need.

EXTRA COSTS: Occasionally I receive quilts that need a little TLC before I can begin. Things like extra threads to cut, pressing, construction of back, sewing seams that did not hold, etc.. I charge $25 per hour for that work.

I am hoping that this will answer the majority of your questions. If you have one that I didn’t think of, just email me at durangoquilter@yahoo.com. Again, thanks for visiting my website. I would be honored to quilt a quilt for you!
