This is the background for three miniature quilts that will be added on a clothesline between the tree and the house.

This is the central area of the quilt. The very large feather wreath is what caused me to do double feathers.

You can almost see the quilting here! I used a clamshell in the background and fans in the four patches.

If you look closely you can see the large overall Pampas Grass design for the quilting in the central part of the quilt.

The border and sashing are quillted to look like wood so the entire quilt looks like a many paned window with a star shining through each pane. This quilt was made as a dedicated quilt for a local group called Womenade. It was auctioned off at the LaPlata Quilters Guild Small Quilt Auction.

I made a couple of small wall hangings from some Playday quilting I did a while back. This is a Fantasy Flower design I made up.
